This magnificent Roman ceramic inkwell is engraved in Latin, with the name of its owner IVCVNDI, who would be a certain JUCUNDO in our time. The following letters NDI are interpreted as another attempt to write your name, but without completing the registration.
This atramentarium was found in 1868 in what would become Roman Britain.
It is currently in the British Museum in London .
